Big Red Apple Festival

This is a Habersham County event that is held every year in the fall. There is multiple food vendors and entertainment from across the county as well as locally. Family friendly. Admission is free.

Taste of Clarkesville

Hosted yearly at the end of September, sample food, wine and beer from over 30 local shops and restaurants while enjoying live entertainment. Admission is free and tickets for food tastes can be purchased at the event. Alcoholic beverage tickets are purchased separately.  ID required.

Mountain Laurel Festival

One of Clarkesville’s biggest tourist attractions, the annual Mountain Laurel Festival, takes place  one Saturday in May every year.  The time-honored festival began in 1962 and takes its inspiration from the mountain laurel flower which grows wild in the Northeast Georgia Mountains.

Chattahoochee Mountain Fair

During September, enjoy nine days of live entertainment, carnival rides, delicious food, arts and crafts, and cake walks during this family fair that also features a and a rodeo.
