Mountain Laurel Festival
One of Clarkesville’s biggest tourist attractions, the annual Mountain Laurel Festival, takes place one Saturday in May every year. The time-honored festival began in 1962 and takes its inspiration from the mountain laurel flower which grows wild in the Northeast Georgia Mountains.

Chattahoochee Mountain Fair
During September, enjoy nine days of live entertainment, carnival rides, delicious food, arts and crafts, and cake walks during this family fair that also features a and a rodeo.
